Early career conservation scientist with research interests in African tropical forests, human/wildlife conflict and conservation in post-conflict and emergency zones. Currently At Imperial College London studying for the MSc in Conservation Science. Just left Oxford University's WildCRU where I have worked on various projects for the last couple years including a review of the exotic pet trade, and the effects of forest fragmentation on biodiversity and ecosystem function. One published paper.

Claudia Gray
PhD Student in dept. Zoology , Oxford University. Currently carrying out research at the SAFE project, Sabah, Malaysia, assessing the conservation value of riparian reserves for insect diversity and ecosystem function. Previously completed the Biodiversity, Conservation and Management MSc, also in Oxford, for which her dissertation focussed on the ecosystem services provided by forest to oil palm plantations. 

Mariel Harrison
Currently studying for MSc Conservation Science at Imperial College London, with two years experience of ecological research and conservation work in Mozambique, Ghana, Madagascar, Egypt and the UK.  Interested in how to sustainably manage natural resources, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa, and incentives for conservation versus exploitation.

Emma Burnett
MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation; recently the Sustainability Intern for the Oxford HubNational Ecosystem Assessment writer and editor; researched crop diversity in Oxford's allotments at the OUCE
Currently director of Cultivate, a co-operative social enterprise working to bring more locally produced food directly into Oxford city and surrounding communities.
